Prominent US political analyst:‌ United States hiding truth about 9/11

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A prominent political analyst brings several examples of efforts by some in the former Bush administration and US intelligence agencies to obfuscate or hide the truth about the attacks of 9/11.

There is an an interview with former US senate candidate Mark Dankof:

The following is a rush transcription of the interview:

Q: Mark, Bin Laden had concluded the only way to defeat the US was by drawing Americans into a series of small but expensive wars that would ultimately bankrupt them. Did Bush and Obama rush right into that trap as Noam Chomsky concludes? What has been the impact of Washington's post 9/11 policies on the US economy?

 Dankof: Well it is clear that in fact they did fall for this trap. Philip Giraldi, the head of the Council for National Interest has a 9/11 perspective on  antiwar.com, that basically underscores what Noam Chomsky is talking about and frankly what people like Pat Buchanan on the right were warning about from the beginning, in regards to getting involved in endless wars and counterinsurgency, they would simply bleed the US dry, economically, and it would produce tremendous political blow back against the US around the world.

When you look at the cost of these wars, just in Afghanistan alone, we are spending something like 10 billion dollars a month, on this thing. And in terms of Iraq, we have already spent trillion dollars, with the meter running. And most economist agree that the final tally on Iraq war would be somewhere between 3 to 5 trillion dollars, much of that in borrowed money, by the way.

Money being borrowed by the US from foreign banks, money being put into the economy by the Federal Reserve board, which as of last count has printed something like 16 trillion dollars an additional money without backing, to fund presumably American wars in the Middle East, as well as bailing out American Banks and brokerage firms at home.

Q: Mark Dankof, if I can put this question to you, these are the very interest that have made a lot of conspiracy theorist as they are being called, raise the question about what happened with 9/11? And was this an inside job? Now polls have been showing that a third of American believe that the US government and/or Israel were behind 9/11. What's behind this belief?

 Dankof: There is a lot of very disturbing information out there that feeds this belief, one is that if you look at the laundry list of American physicists with Ph.D.s, form our most famous universities, there are a number of them who signed off a petition which indicates they believe that the official story of how these towers came down is scientifically, impossible. That some sort of a controlled thermite explosion brought the towers down. Then we get into other subsidiary questions.

Christopher Ketcham's recent piece that is out there on the Israeli's role in 9/11, is once again suggestive. The so-called “dancing Israelis” who were arrested in New Jersey in between the attack on the first tower and the second, the whole question of these Israeli intelligence operations, the so-called “Israeli art students”, that were centered both in New Jersey, and Hollywood, Florida, where many of those alleged 9/11hijackers were held up in the US, suggests that there is much more to this than meets the eye.

Including the fact that a tremendous insurance profit was made by Larry Silverstein, the owner of the World Trade Center towers, who some six months before the attacks, took out a terrific amount of insurance on these towers, and he profited tremendously by them.

Off course Silverstein has many links to [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli lobby. Then there is more to this than meets the eye. The short selling of airline stocks, is just one indications that this goes well beyond a handful of people who allegedly did this.

And one of the other things that is quite curious is that when we look at the Boston Airport in all of this, in terms of being the central location from where these planes were launched, it was an Israeli Security company that was providing the security there at the Boston Logon Airport that day. That to me is suggestive as well. And none of this has been properly looked into or aired before the American Public for obvious reasons.

Q: Mark Dankof, speaking of major question now, that looking back at history, generations later, people would be asking, was al-Qaeda behind the 9/11 attack that has been proven by the US administration?

 Dankof: Well I think that is an important question. It is also important to go back in American history, and to see other things that simply don't add up.

We now know that sinking of the USS Maine in Havana Harbor, which precipitated the American involvement in Spanish-American war, was a False Flag Operation. We know the same is true in Lusitania, and the way that incident was used to bring the US into the WWI.

[Former US president] Franklin D. Roosevelt clearly as is demonstrated by Robert Stinnett, in his book Day of Deceit, planned from October 7th 1940, with its reception of “The McCollum Memorandum”, plotted a twelve course point strategy that was design to provoke Japan into attacking the US Pearl Harbor and bringing us into the Second World War.

Then off course, in my generation there was [former US president John F.] Kennedy's assassination. I am holding in my hand a book written by an author name Michael Collins Piper, the name of that book is Final Judgment this book makes a compelling case that President Kennedy's assassination has something to do with his arguments with the Ben-Gurion over the Israeli nuclear program in Dimona.

And that Meyer Lansky, the head of the Jewish Crime Syndicate, who in fact had been working for the American OSS in WWII, and was Franklin D. Roosevelt's liaison to the Batista regime in Cuba that Lansky become directly involved in a plot which brought a variety of people from the anti-Castro Cuba exiled community, and the CIA, into what happed to President Kennedy on November 22nd 1963.

If the people were to read this book Final Judgment , and to see the Israeli links into what happened to president Kennedy, I suggest that there is link between that and what happened on 9/11.

And even further, for those people who believe president Kennedy's death was a conspiracy, there is a lot of miss information out there as well.

Oliver Stone's movie for example, JFK the chief financier of this movie is an Israeli Mossad agent, Arnon Milchan, who by all public sources, has been a major fund raiser for Israel, and has been involved in Israeli arms trafficking industry.

This suggests the there is a lot more not only in Kennedy's assassination, but about that Israeli link to 9/11 as well.
